This is one of the Iron Man suits. As a matter of fact, it's the first one!
Apparently this is the actual suit they used in the movie. Like, this is the costume. There was a guy in there at some point. This thing is not just a statue.
When I went to the Iron Man panel, they showed us a preview of the movie, and the scene that this thing is in, and it looks really good in action!

Heeheehee! You're cool! *high five*
Yeah, we got an extra special preview. We were supervised by security in order for them to make sure we didn't record anything, or else we could get into big legal trouble, or they would break our cameras and spit in our faces, or something. :P
From what I saw, Iron Man fans are really going to be happy with the movie. I can't wait for it to come out!

cool. i knew they were making a movie, but haven't heard much since then. gotta say, though, that costume looks like it'd be a pain to move around in!

It looks really heavy, but obviously we weren't allowed to touch it, so I don't know. I do figure, though, that it's very bulky and awkward.

yeah, i'm sure it's not as heavy as it looks, but bulky and awkward for sure

Yeah, it LOOKS bulky, more than likely it's plastic with metal pain on it, otherwise they would have had to build it like Stark did with a powered exoskeleton to make a metal version move, we sadly haven't the tech(yet) to make that sort of suit.

Is Ample enough?, just depends on what "Ample" is to you...
Yeah, it most likely is, but it would still be a difficult thing to move around in, I think.

Think the current Movie "spidey" suit, really tight and it gives you a super wedgie too(according to the man in the suit), only this suit gives you nasty chafing and possibly bruises as well.

The original Robocop chin piece gave Peter Weller bruises on his chin/face so bad that he had to wait about a day or more for them to go down before donning the costume again(plus that suit was at least in part metal I think(i.e. Heavy and HOT inside)), they changed it for the second movie by changing the costume's material and installing a cooling device. The recent SciFi TV Movie trilogy they only used the full suit for far shots and only the top sections for closeups.
They didn't have to deal with all the moving parts and external devices this suit has though.

Holy crap! I didn't know that thing actually bruised his face! That must have been a crazy uncomfortable suit.

Yeah, kinda a big reason why he didn't want to do another sequel(which really sucked compared to robo2).
